Completely handpainted Christmas ornament with traditional Christmas imagery.
With Christmas becoming hyper-commercialized, I wanted to paint something simple yet meaningful. I love how the clothing of people in this painting turned out. The angels and wise men truly look noble, with a touch of gold. The
backside of the ornament has the silhouette of an imaginary Bethlehem cityscape, shimmering in the starlight 🌟.
I really enjoyed painting this and it feels like a time capsule when I hold this in my hand, giving me a glimpse of Jesus’ birth story.
Materials : Paper mache ornament, handpainted with acrylic paint and sealed with glossy acrylic sealant. Gold twine attached for hanging. Comes packed in an easy to store, reusable acid/lignin free card board box to protect the ornament for years to come.
