Hope – Acrylic on canvas board 8.5×11 with fingers and palette knife
I saw this image in my mind 3 or 4 months before the Pentecost in 2020. It was during the pandemic. I felt the Holy Spirit asking me to paint this so I painted it in obedience. I do not know what this painting means but the dove and the colors stand out to me. Because of the color, I think it has significance to the United States. I named it hope because the image brought me hope. I felt a deep desire to paint this on a specific day and incidentally, I realized that the day I painted it was the day of the Pentecost (I was quite surprised). May we never loose hope. May the Holy Spirit move in unimaginable ways. May there be peace, freedom, revival and spiritual awakening.
